Oracle EBS Migration

Our customer is a leading global consulting organization, however, they were running a soon to be unsupported version of Oracle EBS (11g) in a Data Centre that was being retired by Oracle Managed Cloud Services (OMCS).

McArthur & Associates (MCA) successfully migrated them to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and upgraded the EBS application (with 10+ customizations) in 6 months, within time and cost budgets.

Their Challenge

Due to the discontinuation of Oracle EBS, MCA assisted the client with migrating this critical business platform for long term business continually it was preferable for them to be migrated from on-premises Oracle Managed Service (OMCS) Data Centre to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in Ashburn.

Our Solution

The Oracle EBS upgrade and refresh process is limited in that it does not cater for customizations. McArthur and Associates designed, developed, and implemented the DevOps process to preserve and redeploy EBS custom code automatically, saving several days of reimplementation effort.
